The song was written in April 2017 as a response to what he calls ‘the confusion and frustration with the times we live in’. The song was released on the 27th of July, one day after the singer turned 74.

You didn’t expect that it would be Mick Jagger though, right? If you are a Rolling Stones fan, or love a bit of rock now and then, this song will definitely tickle your fancy. For most of us, nothing works better than a good song to get you into that mood and singing along using your hairbrush as the mic. Imagine waking up on a Monday morning, longing for something to get you in the mood and get you ready for the week ahead. The first two singles definitely wasn’t any disappointment, and ‘Times Of Our Lives’ isn’t anything close to a disappointment.
Takenote studio update#
I do not have much info to share with you just yet (but will definitely update in the near future), but what I can definitely share with you at this point is the song itself. With only two official singles released thus far – ‘Love Me Better’ and ‘Bartender’ – of his fifth studio album ‘The Afterlove’, this might be the third anticipated single off the album that has been released on the 27th of July. However, ‘Learn to Let Go’ is much more upbeat and motivational that could get you filled with positivity every day stating that your happy ending is up to nobody else, but you. Completely in contrast with what we are used to from the artist. A powerful, deep, and touching single that really has the potential to get you emotional. Her lead single off her third studio album ‘Praying’ reached a total of almost twenty-five million views on YouTube to date. In 2016, Kesha marked her first high-profile public performance alongside Zedd’s 2016 Coachella Festival act, to perform ‘True Colors’, a track from Zedd’s second studio album, since her ongoing legal battles.

But that didn’t stop her from writing songs for her third studio album ‘Rainbow’ (to be released in August 2017). From career troubles to rehab to lawsuits, Kesha has had it rough. The past few years have been tough for Tik-Tok singer, Kesha, previously spelled as Ke$ha. Her seventh studio album ‘Evolution’ is expected to be released in September 2017. The song explores the idea of being caught between your head and your heart when it comes to relationships and Anastacia declares that things have to change. With her new power hit ‘Caught in the Middle’ things can only go up from here. Nonetheless, she’s back, and this time, I can positively say that it’s going to be a return as the Anastacia we all used to know and love.

Six of her studio albums did end up on the Top 10 of the UK Albums charts, with only her self-titled album ‘Anastacia’ making it to position number one. Her last ‘original’ album ‘Resurrection’ was released in 2014, and in 2015 she released an ‘Ultimate Collection’ album. I know what you’re thinking “Where has she been?” The thing is she has been around, but unfortunately none of her latter releases had as big of an impact as her hits ‘Left outside Alone’, ‘I’m Outta Love’, ‘Sick and Tired’ and ‘One Day In Your Life’.
